If you were a triskaidekaphobe, you would believe that the number "13" was unlucky - in fact you would fear it - but when it comes to Alternative Strategies, nothing could be further from the truth. This month marks a celebration of Alt Strats' 13 years as a growing, award-winning marketing communications firm. As I reflect upon all that has made our "think-tank" approach a critical part of our continued success, I would like to express my sincerest appreciation, since this milestone could not have been possible without both the loyalty of our amazing clients, and the talented staff that make up the multi-faceted Alt Strat family.

From our humble beginnings back in 2000, when we were a team of two to today in 2013, when we have grown to a family of 17 dedicated professionals, Alt Strat has kept in step with the ever-evolving nature of our industry. One example lies in the area of social media services, which we began providing about two years ago. I am proud to say that we currently employ a team of five social media managers who are committed to staying ahead of the curve when it comes to providing enhanced electronic communication capabilities.

Through the years, our award-winning track record has been quite impressive. As a team, we have amassed many first place and distinguished awards from top local and national associations such as The American Marketing Association, American Design Awards, the Ad Club and Summit Creative Awards. I recognize that none of this would have been possible without the collaborative efforts between our talented staff and amazing clients.

Another sign of our success as a company came to fruition just this past year, when we moved to a larger office space so that we could accommodate our growing team and increased client list. Now we have all the room we need to work effectively in a supportive environment without literally rubbing elbows with each other.

If it weren't for the synergistic efforts of both our staff and our valued clients who collaborate so effectively on a variety of levels, we wouldn't be one of the leading and fastest growing companies of our kind, and for that, I sincerely thank you.
