At Alternative Strategies, we pride ourselves on bragging about our fantastic clients. But, when it comes to self-promotion, we tend to avoid boasting (too much) about our talented crew. That is, until now. We are so thrilled to welcome three new team members and announce one very exciting promotion. Meet our new additions and see what they had to say about joining the Alt Strat team:

Born in Ireland and raised in New Jersey, Laura Begley is bringing her worldly experience to her role as Client Relations Manager. Laura is the creative force behind our design department and says, "There is a 'no idea is a bad idea' rule which encourages everyone to participate and feel that their input is important."

Pinterest queen, Tara Johnson is our new Social Media Coordinator. She may drive like she's from Massachusetts, but her online networking skills could intimidate someone as savvy as Mark Zuckerberg. "You should see the way my friends look at me when I tell them it's my JOB to be on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest all day. I feel blessed that my job directly affects the business owners and patrons of the restaurants, bars and other establishments in this community."

The new year brought Graphic Designer Brittany Guarino to the Alt Strat office, along with a whole lot of style. After spending years in the South, this New York native is loving San Diego's beaches and her new role. "My job is to create stellar design work. I get to be artsy and creative all day long."

Micah Harvey tweeted his way to the top, with a well-deserved promotion to become our first ever Social Media Manager. He surfs the waves and the web like no one else! "Our team is just that, a team. We work well apart and our different backgrounds and skill sets complement each other in the best ways. They are the ying to my yang, the Honey to my Boo Boo, the Batman to my Robin, the...you get it."
