Et Voilà! Pays Homage to Old-School French Cuisine with a Modern Twist

With spring on the horizon and a bit of romance in the still-nippy air, a tête-à-tête meal at a charming French restaurant is the perfect bridge to getting rid of the winter blues and welcoming the warmer weather.

Et Voila! is the French bistro that San Diegans have been dreaming of finding in North Park. When you walk through the doors you are greeted by a bar that houses a grand clock and beautiful dark wood. Café tables are neatly arranged, creating an atmosphere that is inviting, yet upscale.

Owner Ludo Mifsud is an industry vet, having worked in restaurants in New York, Paris and London and spending 10 years as the well-skilled maître d' of Tapenade in La Jolla. Joining him is co-owner and Chef Vincent Viale. This French culinary-trained chef made his way to California with positions at Tapenade Restaurant in La Jolla and Bernard’O. Rising star Brandon Montes serves as Sous Chef at Et Voilà! having perfected his skills at Craft & Commerce, Bali Hai and Tapenade Restaurants.

At Et Voilà! you will find a menu full of classic French dishes. Starting off with decadent fromages and classic Soupe A L’Oignon Gratinee, Foie Gras and Escargots A L’Ail Et Pastis. Main courses include traditional Coq Au Vin, Confit De Canard and Steak Au Poivre et Frites. Accompany these dishes with the outstanding wine selection offered or the craft cocktails made by master mixologist Sami Saltagi. A vegetarian menu is available for plant-based diners and an extensive brunch menu is offered on the weekends.

Alternative Strategies has been hired to manage PR efforts for this up-and-coming French bistro.
