La Mesa — So Hot Right Now

Alternative Strategies is proud to be working with Farmer’s Table, one of the biggest restaurant openings to hit East County in recent months. As a sister restaurant to current Alt Strat client Farmer’s Bottega, restaurant owners Alberto Morreale and Vincenzo Loverso knew that they needed a strong marketing firm to manage their new concept’s social media, public relations, marketing, advertising and overall creative efforts. Starting with logo design, Alternative Strategies had a hand in the creative process from the very beginning, assisting from there with merchandise design, social media interaction during the buildout, and PR to begin the hype for what was soon to come to downtown La Mesa. Farmer’s Table opened their doors to an overwhelming response from the public; the opening date announcement post on the Farmer’s Table Facebook page received over 1,000 unique likes, proving the strong community interaction and anticipation for their grand opening.

Farmer’s Table is now open in the downtown village district of La Mesa, occupying over 4,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor space. From custom chandeliers and light fixtures, to a 1940s tractor in the bar, Farmer’s Table décor presents a tasteful arrangement of rough-hewn, vintage details. The private dining area, separated from the rest of the restaurant by a working gate that doubles as a “living wall” of succulents, features a blue jean fabric wall treatment from floor to ceiling, to accentuate the farmer feel. A key touch to the décor is that 80% of all materials used for decorating are reclaimed, aiding to the importance of sustainability and recycling to support the environment. Check out the benches and tables made from old car parts, tires and vintage suitcases. One entire side of the restaurant features retractable glass windows and doors, bathing the entire dining space in natural light.
