Alternative Strategies is thrilled to introduce our new client, Route 29. Opened in July, this highly anticipated Napa-inspired eatery has debuted with rave reviews!

Designed with Northern California’s iconic wine country in mind, Route 29 is Napa Valley’s grand entrance to the Gaslamp Quarter. This farm-to-table wining and dining destination reflects the essence of wine country’s iconic, rustic-modern vibe. Featuring an open kitchen that’s hyper-focused on preparing sustainable, local ingredients and a healthy list of vegan options, Route 29’s seasonally fluctuating menu promises artfully prepared, internationally-inspired California Wine Country cuisine with distinctive European flair with Executive Chef Daniel Bear at the reins. Enjoy both patio space and coveted private event space at this unique dining destination.

Dedicated elements of wood, iron and copper décor invite visitors to pair their meal with an impressive lineup of around 150 wine selections, chosen by renowned sommelier Nemanja Pejcic. Including roughly 30 BTG (by the glass) options, the featured wines offer a vibrant diversity of both new- and old-world appellations to satisfy a variety of tastes. The wonders of wine country are within reach without ever leaving home at Route 29!

Alternative Strategies has handled the public relations, social media, marketing and design for Route 29 since its conception, and we are eager to cultivate awareness for the charmingly rustic and elegant experience found at this new eatery! A sister restaurant to current clients Osetra Seafood & Steaks, Greystone Prime Steakhouse & Seafood, and Osteria Panevino, this recently-opened eatery completes the San Diego Restaurant Group in the downtown dining scene.
