Alternative Strategies is ready to taco‘bout our newest client, City Tacos! We are proud to work alongside San Diego’s favorite taqueria, with locations in the heart of North Park and also La Mesa, one of the city's up-and-coming foodie neighborhoods. City Tacos has turned up the heat on innovative, appetizing and unique bites, and prepares fresh Mex fare as it should be — "con sazón!" Locals and visitors will find a special blend of positivity and seasoning here that makes the food and atmosphere truly one-of-a-kind.

Each of City Tacos' locations feature a core menu, along with specific items customized to fit each neighborhood’s unique personality. Dedicated to combining traditional recipes with SoCal flavor, meat, fish, vegetarian, and even Paleo menu items ensure there is something appealing for every taste preference. From their most popular Surf and Turf Taco to the Pollo City, one of the original four taco plates offered when the North Park location opened in 2014, fresh ingredients, homemade tortillas and flavor packed into every bite is guaranteed, no matter what is ordered. Specialty tacos created with seasonal ingredients are also offered throughout the year, so guests can try something new every time they dine at the taqueria.

In addition to delicious and unique fare, City Tacos also takes pride in the lively and energetic atmosphere that can be experienced at both spots. Taco Tuesdays with live video DJs are always a party! North Park features limited outdoor seating, while La Mesa has a larger outdoor patio, and both have a selection of local beer and rotating micheladas.
