This year, Alt Strat is celebrating its golden anniversary! It’s our 19th year in business in 2019, AND… according to its mystical significance, the number 19 represents success and honor! Go “figure!”

I am honored to share news of our past (and present) success since our humble beginnings in 2000. Since then, we have branded and marketed over 250 businesses with everything from logos to signage, web development, events, PR and social media. We have been recognized with over 25 national awards for our work, and personally, I have been featured as an expert across numerous media outlets including Inc. Magazine!

Our focus began in the health/medical and beauty industries, to real estate, and now we market a big portion of San Diego’s top restaurants and bars. Our current list of clients has now expanded beyond our county to support eateries and watering holes around California, the U.S., and even Mexico.

We came together before social media existed, and today, employ five team members who work to create posts and monitor activity to elevate and assure the success of our clients’ businesses. To say that we’ve been “keeping up with the times” would be an understatement!

Teaching is one of my greatest passions and why our firm has graduated over 25 team members over the years who started as interns – and moved into employee status. It is so rewarding to develop new/raw talent and cultivate fresh minds to succeed in this ever-evolving industry. That’s why I also mentor fresh talent through the PRSA (Public Relations Society of America).

I believe that giving back is the biggest reward one could ever personally achieve, and for that reason alone we have donated our services to over a dozen nonprofit organizations, such as Paws4Thought, the Corazon de Vida Foundation, Chula Vista Police Foundation, Skinny Gene, BLCI and MADD, just to name a few.

And finally, I realize that the idea I had many years ago to start this business was only a tiny seed that could not have grown in success without the ongoing commitment and dedication of every internal team member AND cherished clients who has trusted us to help their business blossom and thrive. And for that, I am sincerely grateful and deeply honored.
