Sammy’s Woodfired Pizza & Grill


Alternative Strategies has kicked off public relations efforts for homegrown pizza brand and venerable dining staple, Sammy’s Woodfired Pizza & Grill. We’re thrilled to be working with such a widely beloved and longstanding pizzeria, and with 14 locations throughout San Diego, Sacramento, Palm Desert and Las Vegas, it’s clear that we’re not the only ones with a hankering for one of their coveted woodfired pies. The eatery is coming up on its 30th anniversary in June, which means Alternative Strategies has joined the team just in time to kick off awareness for the restaurant’s exciting milestone.

The brand’s owner/founder, Sami Ladeki, is an industry pro, and with over 35 years of restaurant experience under his belt. Ladeki envelops a true passion for melding quality ingredients to yield premium dishes for even the most discerning of pizza connoisseurs. Alongside options such as Burrata & Pesto Pizza and Organic Arugula & Pear Pizza, Sammy’s touts a slew of shareable bites, including Crisp Brussels Sprouts, Oak Roasted Curried Cauliflower and Mini Duck Tacos; all worthy precursors to the true woodfired stars of the show.

Now the owner of 14 successful Sammy’s locations, Ladeki’s hard-earned dream is a reality, with countless loyal patrons who swear by the pizzeria’s woodfired creations. When asked about what makes Sammy’s pies so popular, Ladeki posits, “The secret is in the dough, a recipe that has been perfected over the years using proprietary cooking techniques. Our dough is made fresh daily and baked in a wood-fired oven at 800 degrees. We only use oak wood, giving the pizzas a unique flavor.”
