Video Pitches

La Jolla Brewery

Alternative Strategies recently created three videos for three clients, including La Jolla Brewing Company, barleymash and Balanced Fitness. Each video was created intentionally to look like a small TV commercial with the purpose of pitching them to various media such as TV stations and magazines. This is a way of displaying what our customers have to offer in a brief and new way. When we visited our La Jolla Brewing Company client we were greeted by their head brewer Brett Stampf, who shared with us his daily routine of brewing the unique beer they offer at La Jolla Brewing company. He also gave us a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the brewing process, which was included in the video. One of the things he told us about was his passion for beer brewing. He said, to him it's just a lot of fun. With this video we tried to capture the atmosphere of La Jolla Brewing Company itself, as well as its unique location near the beach and La Jolla Cove. Watch the video here.

Providing video segments in our pitches enable us to communicate our clients' potential to various media in an informative way, and at the same time, tell a short story about the client. Pitching our clients this way is a great opportunity for various media to meet our clients and get an impression of them before they move forward with an article or TV segment. In addition, the video is a powerful addition to a client's website and social media platforms.

Safety Video

Another example of a video that Alternative has worked on. RADD(R) is the Entertainment Industry's Voice for Road Safety. Their goal is to reduce deaths and injuries across all age groups by increasing road safety awareness and promoting sober driving by teaming up with bars and campuses alike. Alternative Strategies developed a quick, upbeat, informative piece to educate both current and prospective campus participants and supporters (sponsors or retailers) about the CA College DUI Awareness Project and RADD. RADD's message encourages students to use a designated driver, call a cab or a friend or take public transportation before going out to socialize. This short, yet informative video lends itself to the expansion of the RADD program within California and beyond.
