Wang’s North Park

This month it’s time to celebrate one of our newest clients, Wang’s North Park. Having opened in 2012 in the former JCPenney building, Wang’s is truly the biggest on the block and is centrally located in the heart of North Park. It’s hard to miss, with its huge 50-foot mural of a cartoon dinosaur painted on the outside by renowned street artist Mark Paul Deren (also known as Madsteez). Wang’s combines Asian Fusion with traditional Chinese cuisine in a tastefully designed setting. The imaginative menu uses only fresh ingredients sourced locally and separated into categories that balance each meal into a taste adventure. Wang’s even offers vegetarian and gluten free menus that don’t compromise the fantastic Asian flavors. The bar easily accommodates large groups, and has one of the best happy hours in North Park with daily food and drink specials. From their award-winning craft cocktails to local micro brews and sake flights, Wang’s North Park has it all! Planning a special event? Wang’s has you covered with its enormous “Tree House” event space on the second floor.

The San Diego City Beat reader’s poll awarded Wang’s North Park “Best Chinese Restaurant” in town for 2014. Owner and operator Joel Herzer is equally proud of his friendly staff’s outstanding service.

Wang’s North Park recently received more good fortune, as they were granted approval to add an outside patio space to the restaurant. Construction is expected to begin soon, so keep an eye on Wang’s!
