EL CRUCE + 241

Bringing Baja flair to Chula Vista’s historic Third Avenue, El Cruce + 241 is the first wholly devoted Baja tap-room, wine bar and kitchen to open in San Diego’s South County. El Cruce, which translates to “the crossing,” boasts a distinct passion for Baja’s vibrant culture and gastronomy—delivering an authentic experience that crosses borders.

With a deep love and respect for the Baja region, owners Collin Corrigan, Galen Rogers and Pamela Rogers are providing their best rendition at El Cruce. The 4,000 square-foot bi-level space offers guests a traditional experience, with a menu concept developed by acclaimed Ensenada-based chef, Sano Hussong. Using only the freshest Baja ingredients available, noteworthy selections include the Ceviche Campechano, Torta de Chilaquiles, Oysters, and, of course, signature Baja-Style Fish Tacos.

In addition to unique dishes, El Cruce’s impressive beer and wine programs work to highlight and celebrate notable craft breweries and wineries from the beloved Baja region. Guests can enjoy beer selections with 30 taps on draft, from breweries including Cervecería Transpeninsular and Wendlandt. Pours are served in signature 18 oz. Imperial pints, and are also available to-go via 32 oz. growlers. The curated wine list features exclusive selections from the Valle de Guadalupe region, with wineries such as Corona del Valle, Cava Maciel, and Lechuza available. Guests can sip on wine by the glass, order by the bottle, or purchase bottles to-go to enjoy from the comfort of home.

Alternative Strategies is thrilled to welcome El Cruce + 241 to its client roster, handling all marketing efforts, including website creation and maintenance, graphic design, social media and public relations.
