There is a 1940s 8,500 sq. ft. brick building in trendy North Little Italy that houses a unique design showroom. Since 2006, husband and wife Brumby and Misti See Broussard have been the proud owners of Mixture where they offer an unexpectedly homey and welcoming experience to their customers with a mélange of distinct items. Contemporary home furnishings, original art, jewelry, bath products, lighting pieces, and handbags - they have everything to inspire the imagination to create a space and a home all your own. This successful business has grown from 3,500 square ft. and 2-stories to 8,500 sq. ft. and 3 levels including an outdoor courtyard and working showroom kitchen where Brumby Broussard, who started out as a chef in Louisiana, often cooks for their customers on the weekends.

Though they both started out as strangers to California, Misti See and Brumby Broussard have been able to make San Diego their home by featuring a variety of products that promote artists in the community, donating to San Diego youth charities, and keeping their large doors at Mixture open to the city.
