While serving as the school’s Homecoming Committee public relation’s chair, she quickly discovered her interest and aptitude for communication and relationship building. Jessica further developed these skills, and discovered a hidden passion for writing in her most recent career in the event planning industry.
Being raised by a left-brain, business-minded father and a right-brain, creative-thinking mom, Jessica brings her ability to see and understand a wide array of viewpoints and is able to incorporate the best of both ways of thinking. She is beyond excited to be a part of the Alternative Strategies team and bring along her enthusiasm, desire to problem solve and her overall zest for life!
In her free time, you can find Jessica cheering on her favorite Kansas City sports teams, trying out new and often challenging (or maybe just challenging to her) recipes, working out and reading.

Christian has always been passionate about connecting with people, acquiring new knowledge, and sharing it with others. This passion, coupled with his versatility across various industries, guided him to pursue a degree in public relations at California Baptist University. After years of honing his skills through numerous student newspaper articles and extensive practice in PR strategies, Christian graduated amidst the upheaval of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.
His professional journey began as a reputation management specialist for a SAAS marketing firm, where he played a pivotal role in maintaining the online reputation of prominent brands such as Red Robin, Ace Hardware, and various property management firms. While he appreciated the customer-facing aspects of this role, Christian yearned to return to his roots in PR.
Now, Christian is thrilled to leverage his customer success experience in a PR context as a media coordinator at Alternative Strategies. His enthusiasm for cultivating relationships and staying abreast of new information extends beyond the workplace. In his leisure time, he enjoys immersing himself in the humanities, with a keen interest in history, film, and current events. Christian is also an avid gym-goer, dedicating several days a week to weight training, and indulges his passion for American muscle cars during weekends, often attending car meets or cruising along scenic backroads in his 5-liter Mustang.

Rita is originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and moved to San Diego in 2020. She graduated with honors from The Pennsylvania State University – “we are!”
Rita joined the AltStrat family in November of 2021. She loves creating events & promotions to drive participation and sales growth for her clients. She also loves her colleagues, with whom she is also great friends with!
She has previously done marketing for QVC (the television retailer) and Sodexo.
Outside of work, Rita loves attending Broadway shows and concerts, trying different restaurants, watching Eagles games (go birds!) and spending time with family and friends.

Samuel Clawley brings a wealth of experience and a passion for PR, media, social media, and photography to his role at Alternative Strategies. Currently pursuing a degree in Journalism at Coventry University in the UK, Sam has honed his skills in networking, writing, and editing—key strengths that have guided his career path.
During his time at Coventry University, Sam expanded his expertise by joining Phoenix Radio, where he developed strong social and technological skills. His professional journey took a significant step forward when he worked with the PR team at Coventry City Council. In this role, Sam was instrumental in creating engaging audio and video content for the council’s social media platforms, effectively reaching and resonating with diverse audiences.
As the first team member based in Chicago for Alternative Strategies, Sam is committed to delivering outstanding results for our clients. His dedication to achieving goals and his creative approach to media and communications make him a valuable asset to the team.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys watching classic UFC fights and indulging in a good cup of tea, a nod to his English roots.

A seasoned Social Media Manager with extensive experience in digital marketing. Originally from Indiana, he fulfilled a lifelong dream of trading the Midwest for the laid-back SoCal lifestyle, where he has proudly called home for the past sixteen years.
Ryne earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications with a minor in Business & Marketing from Indiana University. With over fourteen years in the field, his career has spanned various industries including automotive, non-profits, and hospitality.
Outside of work, Ryne enjoys a diverse range of interests. He channels his culinary creativity as a self-proclaimed home chef and expresses his artistic side through photography and graphic design. A dedicated advocate for health and fitness, Ryne recently set a personal goal to resume competitive swimming with the US Masters, reflecting his ongoing pursuit of physical excellence and personal growth.

Irene Anastasiadi is a Greek national residing in London. She is an experienced Fashion Assistant at British Vogue and possesses a passion for fashion and an eye for detail. With two years of social media management experience at Alternative Strategies, Irene has honed her skills in the restaurant industry.
Irene holds a Master of Arts in Design Management from the London College of Communication and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Athens University of Economics and Business, with a major in Marketing. These diverse experiences have enabled her to build a strong background in marketing and design management, with a focus on social media content management, paid ad management, graphic design, brand strategy, influencer marketing, and PR coordination. All of these skills have prepared her to excel in the dynamic and fast-paced environment of the restaurant industry at Alternative Strategies.
Outside of her professional life, Irene is an enthusiastic traveler with a desire to make a difference in the world. She has volunteered for several social initiatives, where she has engaged in creative activities for children and taught English in primary schools. Her most memorable volunteering experience was in India, where she spent over two months making a positive impact.

Whether it’s photography, cooking or abstract art – Sandra has always had a hands-on approach to life. Growing up in Berlin, Germany, the hustle and bustle of the city created the perfect environment for her to explore those creative avenues and to work with a wide variety of people.
With a bachelor’s degree in International Business and Marketing, Sandra’s people-oriented approach led her to create customer-centric marketing strategies for manufacturing companies in the U.S. and Germany, as well as an eCommerce start-up.
Sandra has a passion for connecting brands with their clients and creating long-lasting and meaningful relationships through social media and content creation.
Her studies in international business originally brought her to San Diego, where it was love at first sight. During that time Sandra started to explore the area’s wide variety of local restaurants and rock-climbing gyms.
