While serving as the school’s Homecoming Committee public relation’s chair, she quickly discovered her interest and aptitude for communication and relationship building. Jessica further developed these skills, and discovered a hidden passion for writing in her most recent career in the event planning industry.
Being raised by a left-brain, business-minded father and a right-brain, creative-thinking mom, Jessica brings her ability to see and understand a wide array of viewpoints and is able to incorporate the best of both ways of thinking. She is beyond excited to be a part of the Alternative Strategies team and bring along her enthusiasm, desire to problem solve and her overall zest for life!
In her free time, you can find Jessica cheering on her favorite Kansas City sports teams, trying out new and often challenging (or maybe just challenging to her) recipes, working out and reading.

Megan is a true foodie and loves to share it! Her years in food service, from catering intimate culinary gatherings to working large-scale events with the San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival, have given her a well-rounded palate and great appreciation for the creatives in the kitchen. Coupled with her love for storytelling, she was naturally attracted to a career in Public Relations within the culinary and hospitality space. Megan’s life-long adoration for San Diego led her to San Diego State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication. She still resides in San Diego, in a quiet corner of Banker’s Hill and loves to adventure into the city’s many unique neighborhoods.
Outside of work, you can find Megan at an early morning spin or pilates class, singing Beyoncé at full volume, connecting with friends over a good meal, baking what her friends have coined “the best chocolate chip toffee cookies ever,” and traveling the globe when she can. And of course, spoiling her sidekick Roxy, her 14-year-old Chion.

Rita is originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and moved to San Diego in 2020. She graduated with honors from The Pennsylvania State University – “we are!”
Rita joined the AltStrat family in November of 2021. She loves creating events & promotions to drive participation and sales growth for her clients. She also loves her colleagues, with whom she is also great friends with!
She has previously done marketing for QVC (the television retailer) and Sodexo.
Outside of work, Rita loves attending Broadway shows and concerts, trying different restaurants, watching Eagles games (go birds!) and spending time with family and friends.

Irene Anastasiadi is a Greek national residing in London. She is an experienced Fashion Assistant at British Vogue and possesses a passion for fashion and an eye for detail. With two years of social media management experience at Alternative Strategies, Irene has honed her skills in the restaurant industry.
Irene holds a Master of Arts in Design Management from the London College of Communication and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Athens University of Economics and Business, with a major in Marketing. These diverse experiences have enabled her to build a strong background in marketing and design management, with a focus on social media content management, paid ad management, graphic design, brand strategy, influencer marketing, and PR coordination. All of these skills have prepared her to excel in the dynamic and fast-paced environment of the restaurant industry at Alternative Strategies.
Outside of her professional life, Irene is an enthusiastic traveler with a desire to make a difference in the world. She has volunteered for several social initiatives, where she has engaged in creative activities for children and taught English in primary schools. Her most memorable volunteering experience was in India, where she spent over two months making a positive impact.
Irene is passionate about using her expertise in social media management to drive success for Alternative Strategies and its clients.

Whether it’s photography, cooking or abstract art – Sandra has always had a hands-on approach to life. Growing up in Berlin, Germany, the hustle and bustle of the city created the perfect environment for her to explore those creative avenues and to work with a wide variety of people.
With a bachelor’s degree in International Business and Marketing, Sandra’s people-oriented approach led her to create customer-centric marketing strategies for manufacturing companies in the U.S. and Germany, as well as an eCommerce start-up.
Sandra has a passion for connecting brands with their clients and creating long-lasting and meaningful relationships through social media and content creation.
Her studies in international business originally brought her to San Diego, where it was love at first sight. During that time Sandra started to explore the area’s wide variety of local restaurants and rock-climbing gyms.
